What is so captivating about watching an aircraft land or take off? Is it the sheer thrill of seeing it swoop low — that you feel you can almost touch it — or the sight of the aircraft racing down the runway, to ever so gracefully soar into the skies. Crowds still gather near a small bridge over the Parvathy Puthanar to watch this spectacle. The spot can be reached on taking the first right turn on the National Highway as you proceed from Vallakkadavu Junction towards Thiruvallam.
