SBT urged to fill vacancies

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: State secretary of the AITUC Kanam Rajendran has asked the management of the State Bank of Travancore (SBT) to take immediate steps to fill the over 2,500 vacancies in the bank.

He was inaugurating an agitation launched by the SBT Employees Union demanding the filling of vacancies in the posts of clerks, peons and sweepers and speeding up of the posting of 450 candidates who were awaiting appointment here on Thursday. — Special Correspondent
