New insurance scheme welcomed

CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu Government Employees Union on Thursday welcomed the new insurance scheme for the government employees.

In a statement issued here, union president K. Balasubramanian said at a time when the cost of treatment for major ailments and for operations became expensive, the new scheme would be helpful. — Special Correspondent
