KOCHI: The former judge of the Kerala High Court, K. Sukumaran, has called for measures with cooperation from the public to address the problems posed by hyacinth in water bodies. He was inaugurating the one-day seminar on sustainable management of water hyacinth in Kerala organised jointly by Allahabad Agricultural Institute University and Kerala Education Society here. The seminar felt that several viable projects could be established with hyacinths as the basic raw material, said Prof. P. J. George of Allahabad Agricultural Institute University.
