This Day That Age
The Pakistan Prime Minister, Malik Firoz Khan Noon, proposes to call a conference of all political leaders to fix a date for the first general elections in Pakistan, official sources said in Karachi on June 12. The decision to call an all-party conference was understood to have been taken at a high-level meeting held at the Prime Minister’s house in the morning and the Chief Election Commissioner and other officials engaged in election work attended the meeting.
