Karmika sangham plea on wages

VIZIANAGARAM: The district unit of the Andhra Pradesh Vyavasaya Karmika Sangham (APVKS) on Friday opposed payment of wages to workers engaged under the National Rural Employment Guarantee Programme (NREGP) through DWCRA and grama aikhya sanghams.

District secretary of the sangham R. Ramulu said that as per the Central Government guidelines the payments must be made either through post-offices or banks.
