Power shutdown

PUDUCHERRY: There will be no power supply on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. at Kamaraj Nagar, Isaravel Nagar, Priyadarshini Nagar, Dental College, Mother Theresa Medical Science Institute, Sivaji Nagar, Navarkulam, Lawspet, Kurunji Nagar, Kumaran Nagar, Government Servant Quarters, Ashok Nagar, Shanthi Nagar, Vallalar Nagar, Lakshmi Nagar, Avvai Nagar, Nesavalar Nagar, Shanmuga Nagar, Mahaveer Nagar, Karuvadikuppam, Samipillaithottam, Bharathi Nagar Eastern side, Sonia Gandhi Nagar, Thuthipet, Thondamanatham and certain parts of Karasur, a release from the Electricity Department said.

The disruption of power supply was due to the maintenance work carried out on 110/22 K V Kurumbapet and Sedharapet sub stations, the release added.
