THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala State Private Bus Owners Federation has announced that private buses owing allegiance to the federation will stop service in the State from July 1 after submitting the Form G. Addressing a press conference here on Friday, federation president M. Khalid Mundappilly and general secretary P. K. Pavitran said the government had failed to take any positive step towards the demands put forward by the federation. PermitsThe federation is demanding hike in the bus charges, including student’s fare, in view of the increase in the price of diesel and renewal of permits in nationalised routes among other things. Mr. Mundappilly said a decision to stop service from July after submitting Form G was taken by the executive committee held here on Thursday.
