Entrepreneurship programme

VIRUDHUNAGAR: Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Institute will organise a six-week free entrepreneurship skill development programme (ESDP), in association with Indian Bank, for the weaker sections in Virudhunagar district.
The beneficiaries will include women, members of Schedule Tribes, Schedule Castes and physically handicapped persons. Every participant is entitled to a stipend of Rs. 666 from June 18 to July 27.
Interested persons in the age group of 18 to 45 years with a pass in SSLC and above can attend the Industrial Motivation Campaign to be held at PVKC Kalyana Mandapam, near old bus stand, Virudhnagar.
The main objective of the training programme is to encourage manufacturing and servicing activities. No fee will be collected for the programme. Experienced women entrepreneurs and steps taken to start small industries will be given preference.
