CHIKMAGALUR: Members of political parties except BJP and Karnataka Rajya Raitha Sangha took out a procession here on Friday in protest against the police action on farmers in Haveri recently. They raised slogans against the Government and sought the resignation of Home Minister V.S. Acharya. They demanded that steps be taken to overcome the shortage of fertilizers. They held a meeting before submitting a memorandum to the Deputy Commissi-oner. — Correspondent
