HAVERI: The district administration of Haveri will start distributing 2,500 tonnes of DAP fertilizer from Tuesday through retail shops in the district. Deputy Commissioner P.S. Vastrad told The Hindu that the district would receive 1,200 tonnes of DAP on Sunday and another consignment of 1,500 tonnes would arrive on Monday. “We will start the distribution from Tuesday,” he said. Mr. Vastrad said the district would receive an additional 2,500 tonnes of DAP after Tuesday.
