JAIPUR: Eleven persons were killed and 20 injured when a truck collided with a Rajasthan Roadways bus near Beri bus stand in Sikar district of the State on Thursday. The bus, filled to capacity, was on its way from Sikar to Pilani in Jhunjhunu district when the mishap took place around 4-30 pm. The impact of the collision was such that the bodies of some of the victims were torn to pieces. Five seriousThe Circle Officer of the Raghunathgarh police station, Prithviraj Meena, confirmed the death of 10 persons in Sikar while another, a 25-year-old woman, died on the way to Sawai Man Singh Hospital in Jaipur. Five persons, reportedly in a serious condition, are admitted to SMS Hospital while 20 others are being treated for injuries at the Sri Kalyan Government Hospital in Sikar. The deceased include the driver of the ill-fated bus while the truck driver is among those admitted to hospital with serious injuries.
