Mumbai: A local court on Friday remanded Arjun Menon, an IndiGo Airlines co-pilot arrested in connection with the alleged suicide of an air hostess, to police custody till June 19. Menon (30), who was arrested on Thursday, has been charged with abetting the suicide of Sucheta Anand, the 25-year-old air hostess who was found hanging from the ceiling in a hotel room in suburban Santa Cruz on June 7. The co-pilot was arrested following a complaint of abetment to suicide filed by Anand’s brother Manish who is a Delhi-based businessman. The police had initially registered a case of accidental death. PTI
