Drive to promote blood donation

NEW DELHI: The Delhi Medical Association and the Delhi Home Guards will launch a campaign to promote voluntary blood donation in the Capital this Saturday, World Voluntary Blood Donation Day. “It is a matter of concern that only 30 per cent of the total blood requirement is met through voluntary blood donation in the city. The Delhi Home Guards and DMA have decided to organise a series of camps to meet this requirement,” said DMA State Secretary Ashwini Dalmiya.
