BANGALORE: A car driver was stabbed to death by four persons over a trivial issue in Adugodi police station limits on Thursday. The police have identified the victim as Khalid Sohil, a resident of Neelasandra. Sohil came to see his parents and siblings residing at the EWS quarters in Adugodi. When he was leaving around 10.30 p.m., Sohil saw four persons near his parents’ residence. When he enquired what they were doing there, the four picked a quarrel and stabbed Sohil in his face and chest. They also attacked Akbar and Azar, brothers of Sohil, when they rushed to his help. By the time the neighbours gathered, the attackers had fled and Sohil was declared brought dead at a hospital. The Adugodi police have registered a case of murder. Killed in accidentSeenappa (48) died on the spot when a private bus hit him on Tumkur Road in Yeshwantpur traffic police station limits on Thursday. A driver with a private factory and resident of Nelamangala, Seenappa was waiting for a bus to go home when the incident occurred around 9.15 p.m. The Yeshwantpur traffic police have registered a case. Two-wheeler stolenThree persons made Rajashekhara Reddy, a resident of Agrahara, Yelahanka, to part with his two-wheeler at knife-point in Yelahanka police station limits on Thursday. The incident occurred on Jakkur tankbed. The Yelahanka police have registered a case. ArrestedThe Central Crime Branch police arrested a man on charges of manufacturing and selling fake inkjet cartridges and toners and recovered articles worth Rs. 4.5 lakh. The police gave the name of the accused as Patel Aravind (21) of Ejipura. Aravind’s associate, Naresh R. Patel, is at large. KilledAn elderly man died of injuries at a hospital after a BMTC bus hit him in Rajajinagar traffic police station limits on Friday. The police gave the name of the victim as Babu (65), a resident of Seshadripuram.
