Loan waiver and relief scheme

Bangalore: The Central Bank of India is set to implement the Agricultural Debt Waiver and Debt Relief Scheme. According to a press release, Rs.1,200 crore is expected to benefit over 4.22 lakh farmers through the loan-waiver scheme, while 86,000 farmers will get Rs. 200 crore benefit under the relief scheme. — Staff Reporter
