Science teacher prize

Bangalore: Professor C.N.R. Rao Education Foundation has instituted the Outstanding Science Teacher Prize to dedicated science teachers.

The Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR), Bangalore, will give away the prize for 2007 to Upkar Dutt Sharma, Assistant Teacher, CAB Inter-College, Meerut, and Linganand K. Gavimath, Assistant Teacher, Government Pre-University College, Hunnur, Bagalkot district. The award ceremony will be held at 10.30 a.m. on July 1 at the JNASCR, Jakkur campus. — Staff Reporter
