Wash destroyed

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Vigilance squads of the Forest Department destroyed 3,800 litres of wash in raids on illicit distillation dens inside forest areas in the district on Friday. The squads were deployed on a directive from Minister for Forests Benoy Viswom after he was asked about the functioning of such dens at a press conference on Friday morning. Wash was reportedly found in the Paruthippally range (on the banks of Karamana river) and in the Palode range.
