VIZIANAGARAM: TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu will cover 208.2 km in the district during his first phase of ‘Mee Kosam’ tour that begins from 2 p.m. on June 17 and concludes at Jiyyammavalasa, the mandal headquarters village in the agency region at 8 pm on June 20. Releasing his tour schedule and route map, party district president Yadla Ramana Murty told a press conference on Saturday that after entering the district on June 16 night he would stay at M.V.G.R. College of Engineering and begin tour on June 17th afternoon. His convoy would pass through Vizianagaram town, Bondapalli, Gajapathinagaram, Ramabhadrapuram, Salur, Makkuva, Parvathipuram and Jiyyammavalasa mandals. He would spend more time with people and hear their problems than hurrying through villages in these mandals. Mr. Naidu would enter Santa Narsipuram village in Veeraghattam mandal on June 21morning. MSP for paddyWith regard to minimum support price for paddy, Mr. Murty said the party along with Left parties and rythu sanghams would launch an agitation shortly and sought cooperation of people. Former MLA Appala Narasimha Raju, Telugu Rythu president Mopada Krishna Murty and others were present.
