Sites identified

Shimla: The Himachal Pradesh Government has identified two sites in Mandi and Kangra districts for the establishment of the proposed Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and a Central University.

While 500 hectares of land have been identified in Kamand village in Mandi district for the proposed IIT, 697 hectares of land have been selected in Dehra Tehsil of Kangra district for the proposed Central University. -- PTI
