Collector assumes charge

VILLUPURAM: R. Palanisamy took over as Collector of Villupuram district on Friday.

He replaced Brajendra Navnit, who has been deputed to Central services.

Born on January 28, 1960 in Coimbatore, Mr. Palanisamy served as District Educational Officer at Kanyakumari in 1987 and at Villupuram in 1989. Later, he served as the Chief Educational Officer in North Arcot, Erode, Chennai and Tiruchi.
