CBI conducts searches at house of Krishna Domestic help of Durranis under the scanner NEW DELHI: The Central Bureau of Investigation is learnt to have subjected Nupur Talwar, wife of Dr. Rajesh Talwar, to a polygraph test a couple of days ago in view of alleged discrepancies in her statements on the Noida double murder case. Sources in the CBI said Mrs. Talwar, a dentist, could be in the know of important details as she was present in the house on the fateful night when her teenaged daughter Aarushi and domestic help Hemraj were murdered. Mrs. Talwar was put to the test in view of “inconsistencies” in the statements given by her and that of her husband. The sources, however, said she was not a suspect. Dr. Talwar is lodged in the Dasna jail in Ghaziabad since his arrest in connection with the double murder last month. CBI sleuths visited the Jal Vayu Vihar residence of Dr. Talwar again on Sunday afternoon and continued their search for the weapon with which the offence was committed and other clues. The team reportedly searched water tanks on the roof and questioned some locals about the missing cellphones of Aarushi and Hemraj. On Saturday, CBI sleuths, accompanied by a team of forensic experts, examined the water pipelines of the area. The team also conducted searches at the house of Dr. Talwar’s compounder Krishna, who was sent to three-day police remand by the Ghaziabad court on Saturday. On Sunday, a CBI team again picked up Rajkumar, domestic help of the Durranis — family friends of the Talwars — to confront him with Krishna. Rajkumar is also under the scanner and searches were conducted in his room. The CBI is also studying the call records of his mobile phone.
