NARASARAOPET: Youth Congress leader and son of Civil Supplies Minister Kasu Krishna Reddy, Kasu Mahesh Reddy has demanded Telugu Desam leader Kodela Siva Prasada Rao to tender an unconditional apology to the people of the town for causing severe inconvenience during the four day protest. Addressing a press meet on Sunday, Mr. Reddy pointed out that Mr. Siva Prasada Rao by sitting in a protest in front of the Municipal Office had paralysed the entire civic work affecting the lives of many people. By laying a siege to the town, he caused a loss to traders and the ordinary people. Reiterating that neither he nor his family had any role behind the framing of charges against the former minister, Mr. Reddy asserted that the fact that complainant was a former associate of Kodela was giving rise to suspicion that Mr. Kodela might have resorted to the ‘political drama’ to gain sympathy for voters in his constituency. However, people in the constituency were alive to the various atrocities committed during the tenure of Kodela and would not be easily fooled, he said. He also dared Kodela to explain about his reluctance to stage protest against the police when many cases including the bomb blast case was filed against him.
