CUTTACK: Tension resurfaced at Olatpur-based National Institute of Rehabilitation Training and Research (NIRTAR) on Monday when hundreds of students of the institute staged a demonstration demanding revoke of disciplinary action initiated by the authorities against 16 students. NIRTAR authorities sent telegram messages to the parents of at least 16 students informing that their wards would not be allowed to continue their studies at the institute for creating vandalism inside the campus. Protesting against what they called “coercive” action against their innocent friends, the students resorted to strike.
