Speed trials

MADURAI: Speed trials, using a special train formation, will be conducted on the broad gauge line between Karaikudi and Manamadurai on June 18, Wednesday, between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. by the Commissioner of Railway Safety. According to a release, the trials are to be undertaken to assess the condition of the newly laid track. All users of railway line should not come near the track during the trials.
