Thrissur: Police arrested Rajesh (20), son of Rajakumaran, Palakkad,on Monday in connection with the murder of a hotel worker Venugopal (43) of Pullazhi. Both were cleaning workers at a hotel, near Sakthan Thamburan bus stand, Thrissur. Venugopal was admitted to the district hospital with stab injuries on June 10. Later he succumbed to his injuries. Police said a petty quarrel over a sleeping mat led to the murder. Rajesh has acted in the film ‘Meesa Madhavan’. — Staff Reporter
