Coimbatore: The Hindu notched up a six-wicket win over Dinakaran Suryan FM to emerge the champion of the eighth Classic Polo inter-media cricket tournament for the Coimbatore Midtown Rotary Rolling Trophy at the CIT inner grounds here on Sunday. The Hindu, thanks to R.L. Sivakumar (four for eight), bundled out the opposition for 68 and scored the required runs in 11 overs. Ganesh chipped in with an unbeaten 41. Earlier, Daily Thanthi defeated Radio Mirchi by 23 runs to finish third. The scores: Final: Dinakaran Suryan FM 68 in 15 overs (Sivakumar four for eight) lost to The Hindu 69 for four in 11 overs (Ganesh 41 n.o.). Third place: Daily Thanthi 95 for six in 15 overs bt Radio Mirchi 72 in 15 overs (Sathya 33). Hari, Balakumar sizzleRainbow Cricket Club scored a one-wicket win over Arumugam Cricket Club in the Canara Bank-CDCA first division league for the Pricol Trophy at the PSG Tech grounds on Sunday. M.N. Hari Kumar (six for 31) bowled his heart out for the loser. In a third division match, T. Balakumar hit 139 in Lucky Youngstar Cricket Club’s six-wicket win over Dolphin Cricket Club. The scores: First division: Arumugam CC 197 in 44.1 overs lost to Rainbow CC 198 for nine in 35.2 overs (P. Premkumar 63, M.N. Harikumar six for 31). Third division: Dolphin CC 257 in 49.3 overs (Yesuraj 40) lost to Lucky Youngstar CC 261 for four in 40.2 overs (T. Balakumar 139, V. Giriprasad 63 not out). South India Manchester CC 184 in 42 overs (Rangarajan 56, Karthik Kumar four for 37) bt R.S. Puram Club 61 in 17.2 overs (Arumugam five for 27). Senthil Srinivasan MC 216 in 47.5 overs (P.
