NEW DELHI: Man-of-the-match Rajinder Bisht struck a half-century as Manish Group defeated Vidya Jain Academy by 27 runs to book a berth in the semifinals of the 1st Lala Girdhari Lal twenty20 cricket tournament at the Bharat Nagar ground here. Bisht’s 52 and Lokesh Sharma’s 40 helped Manish Group gather 114 runs for nine in 15 overs. In reply, Vidya Jain Academy was all out for 87 in 14 overs. Mohit Sharma scored 34. Darshan Kajania claimed three wickets while Bisht picked up two. The scores: Manish Group 114 for nine in 15 overs (Rajinder Bisht 52, Lokesh Shrma 40) bt Vidya Jain 87 in 14 overs (Mohit Shrma 34, Darshan Kajania three for 28). — Sports Reporter
