Patient diagnosed with dengue

NEW DELHI: A patient has been diagnosed with dengue at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital here.

Ahmed, a migrant from Bihar, was admitted to the hospital with fever. The next day his blood sample was sent to the laboratory for analysis where it tested positive for dengue. According to MCD Medical Health Officer N. K. Yadav, the case had originated in Bihar and the civic body is taking all precautions to ensure that it does not spread in the Capital.
