VIJAYAWADA: A good number of students of Koneru Lakshmaiah College of Engineering (KLCE) have been successfully placed with IT giants Infosys and HCL in the beginning of new academic year, said Principal L.S.S. Reddy in a statement on Monday. He said a record number of 157 students had been selected by Infosys, while HCL, Bangalore picked up 73 students. KLCE Chairman Koneru Satyanarayana said that, over the years, their students had proved themselves and were being selected by various companies. The college had 100 per cent placements in the previous academic years as well. College Correspondent K.L. Havish congratulated the students.
