Woman found dead, husband unconscious

HYDERABAD: A housewife Geetha (22) was found dead while her husband Sridhar (27) was in an unconscious state at their residence at Phanigiri Colony under the Saroornagar police station limits on Monday. Sridhar was sent to a corporate hospital where the doctors said his condition was critical.
Police suspect that Geetha and Sirdhar consumed sleeping pills on Sunday night. “As they did not come out till late in the morning, Sridhar’s mother Jayamma tried to wake them up and found Geetha dead,” the police said. With the help of neighbours, she shifted Sridhar, who was unconscious, to the hospital.
A pharmaceutical company salesman, Sridhar married Geetha five years ago. They have a daughter. Neighbours told the police that the couple had no differences. The police are investigating.
