Girl sent for medical examination Clothes sent to Forensic Science Laboratory
HYDERABAD: A former security guard of a school, Ramulu (32), who allegedly molested a six-year-old girl of the school, was arrested by the Saroornagar police on Monday.
Angered over the incident, locals of Venkateswara Colony beat up the school bus driver Tirumalesh accusing him of supporting Ramulu.
According to Saroornagar Sub Inspector Mallikarjun Reddy, Ramulu worked as guard at the Loyola Convent High School and quit the job few a months ago.
On Saturday, he boarded the bus while Tirumalesh was driving home students and allegedly molested the girl.
The girl’s parents grew suspicious on seeing some stains her frock.
“On learning what had happened, the parents lodged a complaint with us,” the SI said. The girl was sent to the hospital for medical examination.
Her clothes were also sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory.
As the news about the alleged molestation of the girl spread, locals, the girl’s relatives and some youth organisations went to the school, questioned the principal and attacked the bus driver for allowing the guard into the bus.
