Vidyut stars in Chemplast’s win

CHENNAI: Chemplast Sanmar rode on S. Vidyut’s unbeaten 94 to register a comfortable nine-wicket win in its quarterfinal match against First Flight Couriers in The Hindu Trophy here on Monday. The semifinals will be played on June 18.

The scores: First Flight Couriers 145 for five in 30 overs lost to Chemplast Sanmar 147 for one in 19.2 overs (S. Vidyut 94 n.o., R. Ram Kumar 41); Reserve Bank 169 for five in 30 overs (N. Hat-trick by Zubair

Zubair’s hat-trick was the highlight of i-Flex Solutions’ 70-run win against Royal Sundaram Alliance in the SSI-YSCA league here on Monday.

Ashok Leyland Ennore coasted to a 10-wicket victory after Dilli Babu claimed six wickets to bundle Accenture out for 102.
