Mob ransacks Southco office

BERHAMPUR: An angry mob of villagers ransacked the sub-divisional office of the power distribution company, Southco, at Purushottampur in Ganjam district on Tuesday. The mob consisted of villagers from Aladi, who had no power for five days. Power supply to the village had snapped following malfunctioning of a transformer. It was not replaced despite repeated complains lodged by the villagers.
