‘Stop talking about Telangana’

VIZIANAGARAM: On the eve of core committee meeting on the issue of Telangana at Devupalli village in Gajapathinagaram mandal on Wednesday, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N. Chandrababu Naidu once again asked senior leaders of the party to stop airing their views before the media. At a press conference here on Tuesday, Mr. Naidu, who began his ‘Mee Kosam’ tour in the district, said that since it was a ‘sensitive issue’, a final decision could not be taken at the committee’s first meeting. He said the leaders who talked on Telangana would, on their own, have to issue rejoinders as a debate on statehood was still pending in each region.
