TIRUCHI: Immigration sleuths on Tuesday caught a 41-year-old man at the airport when he attempted to fly to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia under a false name. Police said N. Kesavaperumal, hailing from Viriyur village in Sankarapuram taluk in Villupuram district, obtained a passport under the false name of C. Anthonyraj. He also gave a fake address while obtaining the passport, the sources said. Using the document obtained under fictitious name, Kesavaperumal came to the airport to board a Sri Lankan flight when the immigration sleuths caught him and handed him over to the Airport Police. A case was registered and he was later remanded to judicial custody.
