SBI gesture to home for boys

VISAKHAPATNAM: The State Bank of India, Zonal Office, donated a DVD player, pressure cookers, water filter and ceiling fans, all worth Rs.15,000 to the Government Special Home for Boys at MVP Colony in the city on Wednesday.
Addressing the inmates, SBI Deputy General Manager K.R. Mohanty said that the articles were meant to improve the health and promote lifestyle of the underprivileged children in the home.
Adoption
He said that the bank has also adopted some poor students who are studying in junior colleges in various places.
Superintendent of the Special Home K. Keshavulu, Deputy Superintendent B.V. Muralidhar, its Medical Officer G.V. Narasimha Rao and DPO M. Shanmukhi Rao were among those who participated.
