PUDUCHERRY: The Chennai-based Image Infotainment Limited, which offers courses in animation and graphics, opened its centre here on Wednesday. Minister for Industries and Power V. Vaithilingam inaugurated the centre. “Image has a good technology and a strong human capital for training students to international standards in digital media,” said A. Vigram, Regional Manager of Image Infotainment Limited. The centre will offer diploma courses in digital visual media that includes animation and visual effects. It will also conduct short-term certificate courses in graphic design, web design and digital design. While the diploma courses are of one-year duration, the short-term courses will spread over four or six months.
