ANANTAPUR: The CPI (M) on Wednesday alleged that the services of BSNL land line and cell phone were very poor in the district due to inadequate and inferior quality infrastructure. The call efficiency and call connectivity ratios were also very poor, district secretary of the party G. Obulakonda Reddy said. The number of BSNL customers, particularly that of cell phone users, had gone up considerably in the district over the last two years without proportionate improvement in the infrastructure. Thus, the quality of services was badly affected, he wrote in a letter addressed to the Chief General Manager of BSNL, Andhra Pradesh Circle.
