Screening camps

Krishnagiri: The State Government will conduct special screening camps for children with heart ailments under the Chief Minister’s ‘Ilam Sirar Irudaya Padukappu Thittam’ in the district Collector Santhosh Babu has said.

The camps would be held at the following areas from June 19 to 27: Primary health centre, Bargur (June 19), Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Krishnagiri (June 20), Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Hosur (June 27).

Mr. Babu said that tests would be conducted for ascertaining the nature of their ailments.

He said that children with cardiac ailments would be identified at special camps to the needy students would be referred to any of the 17 private hospitals notified by the State government or the Government Medical College and Hospitals where further advanced that funds would be released from the ‘Chief Minister’s Special Cardiac Surgery Scheme’.
