KOTTAYAM: One person was killed and more than a dozen others were injured when a speeding bus ran into a bus stop at Kothala on Wednesday morning. C.J. David, 33, was waiting for the bus along with nearly 15 others when the accident occurred. The walls and roof of the decade-old waiting shed collapsed in the accident killing David. David, an employee of the Kerala State Electricity Board, is survived by his wife and a three-year-old daughter. Eye-witnesses say that the driver lost his control when he tried to stop the bus near the waiting shed.
