Daily wages of NMR workers fixed

Kakinada: The daily wages of non-muster roll (NMR) workers under highly skilled, skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled categories have been fixed at Rs. 280, Rs. 205, Rs. 185 and Rs. 145 respectively for 2008-09, according to a press release by Joint Collector G.S.R.K.R. Vijay Kumar. Dearness allowance was increased to 11.50 per cent as per the guidelines of the Labour Department.
