Gaurav Gupta posted as KPTCL MD

Bangalore: Close on the heels of the transfer of nearly 70 senior officers of the Indian Administrative Service last week, the State Government on Wednesday reshuffled 134 IAS officers.

Gaurav Gupta, Commissioner for Employment and Training, has been posted as Managing Director, Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited.

He has also been appointed Special Secretary, Department of Infrastructure Development, which is a newly created post.

M.V. Jayanthi, Executive Director, Karnataka Jalasamvardhana Sangha, Bangalore, has been posted as Regional Commissioner, Mysore Division.

B.R. Jayaramaraje Urs, Regional Commissioner, Bangalore Division, has been posted as Secretary to Government, Revenue Department (Disaster Management), Bangalore.

G.V. Kongwad has been appointed Managing Director, Karnataka State Beverages Corporation Limited. Mr. Kongwad holds additional charge as Managing Director, Mysore Minerals Limited. The order appointing him Secretary to Government, Department of Commerce and Industries (Mines, SSI & Textiles), has been withdrawn.

G.M. Dhananjaya, Regional Commissioner, Mysore Division, has been posted as Regional Commissioner, Bangalore Division.

G.S. Narayanaswamy, has been appointed Commissioner for Employment and Training.

K.S. Prabhakara has been posted as Commissioner, Religious and Charitable Endowment, and Secretary to Government, Revenue Department. The order posting him as Regional Commissioner, Gulbarga, has been cancelled.

K. Amaranarayana, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner, Davangere district.

R. Narayanaswamy has been posted as Deputy Commissioner, Chikmagalur district.

N. Prabhakarappa has been appointed Joint Commissioner, Commercial Taxes (Intelligence).

Darpan Jain has been appointed Deputy Commissioner, Dharwad.

Shamla Iqbal has been appointed Director, Rural Infrastructure Development.

C. Shikha has been appointed Chief Executive Officer, Dharwad Zilla Panchayat.

The order posting D. Satyamurthy as Project Director, Karnataka State AIDS Prevention Society, has been cancelled and he continues as Managing Director, Karnataka Neeravari Nigam Limited.
