Plea against Circuit Benches

BANGALORE: A writ petition was filed in Karnataka High Court on Wednesday against the decision of the court to commence Circuit Benches at Dharwad and Gulbarga. The full Court of the High Court had resolved to commence the sitting of the High Court Benches at Gulbarga and Dharwad from July 7. However, a petition has been filed against this decision saying that the infrastructure is yet to be put in place. Adequate facilities were yet to be made available in both the places and the High Court had taken a hasty decision in starting the Benches, the petition said. — Staff Reporter
