Film festival of animation talent

NEW DELHI: Acclaimed film-maker Ketan Mehta’s 3-D animation and visual effects training academy, the Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics, is organising a daylong film festival here this coming Saturday.

Titled “SRIJAN-2008”, the festival is aimed at showcasing fresh animation talent from Delhi and other parts of North India. The festival’s highlight will be a seminar by V. K. Gupta, technical director of Hollywood blockbusters like “Golden Compass” and “Beverly Hills”.
