1,000th branch under CBS

BANGALORE: Canara Bank has implemented Core Banking Solutions (CBS) in 1,000 branches across the country. Karaikudi, in Tamil Nadu was the 1,000th branch to go under the CBS platform on Monday.

In the last four months, the bank has brought in over 850 business unitsunder the CBS platform. Products like multi-city cheque facility, online trading, e-payment of tax, phone banking and internet banking facilities, are now available at the branches.
