Regulatory orders clamped

Coimbatore: The City Police Commissioner, K.C. Mahali, has clamped regulatory orders under section 41 of the Madras City Police Act prohibiting public assemblies, dharnas, demonstrations and processions without prior permission in all the 15 police station limits till June 30.

The regulatory orders were aimed at preventing breach of public peace and tranquillity by persons belonging to different political, social, religious and economic ideologies, a release here has said.
