KURNOOL: The faction-ridden Kappatralla village in Kurnool district was jolted by the murder of a 35-year-old person identified as as B. Kaulutlayya (35). His body was recovered from an agricultural well on the outskirts of the village. According to reports, the victim was murdered two days ago and the body was dumped in the well. In another incident at Alarudinne close to Kappatralla, a 25-year old woman was found murdered. The body was concealed in a gunny bag and left near a bridge. The woman was yet to be identified. Meanwhile, the police arrested the 38th accused in Kappatralla murders at Kodumur on Wednesday. The accused identified as Hamunathachari supplied a mini-van and a two-wheeler to transport the assailants back from the murder spot. The accused abandoned his vehicles near Tumukunta under Ieeja mandal in Mahabub Nagar district. The police recovered the vehicles. Deputy SP Ramnath who is investigating the case said some more accused were to be arrested in the case. The arrests would be effected after receiving forensic reports.
