NEW DELHI: The CBI on Wednesday questioned Rajesh Talwar’s colleague and family friend Anita Durrani and her husband in connection with the Aarushi-Hemraj murder case. The Durranis came to the CBI Headquarters at CGO Complex here around 5-45 p.m. They were taken to the investigation room, where they were questioned for over three hours by senior CBI officials in the presence of a woman officer. A psychologist was reportedly part of the team that quizzed the Durrani couple. A forensic expert from the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences held a meeting with the CBI officials on Wednesday to give a fresh look at the evidence collected so far. Earlier in the day, the agency approached a bank seeking details of financial transactions made through Dr. Talwar’s account in the past one year. The CBI again carried out searches in different parts of Noida for clues. The agency again questioned Dr. Talwar’s domestic help Bharti to find out all that she had noticed when she went to the doctor couple’s house on May 16 morning, shortly after Aarushi was found murdered in her room. She was also asked about the relationship between Aarushi and her parents.
