28,647 engineering seats available Cet Scan

BANGALORE: As many as 3,790 engineering seats have been filled over the past three days of the seat selection process conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority.
Eligible rank holders from 4,701 to 6,400 will get an opportunity to choose from 28,647 available seats on Thursday.
While Electronics and Communication continues to be the most sought after course, numbers show that Computer Science Engineering and Electrical Engineering have fared well on Wednesday. Counselling will begin as usual at 9 a.m.
There are 5,672 seats available in Electronics and Communication and 5,770 seats in Computer Science Engineering. The number of unreserved seats had come down to 1,887 in electronics. This means that all general category seats are likely to be filled in the next couple of days.
Students and parents from all over Karnataka have come to the city to attend seat selection rounds which commenced on Monday. Students with ranks up to 54,000 will be attending counselling over the next few weeks.
